The Ravens are excited to welcome and introduce our Billet Coordinator, rita Schwarting!!!
rita has been a Billet Mom with the Seattle Thunderbirds since 2009, and is very active in the community. She is a Past President of the local Kiwanis International where she has been active for 14 years. She also finds time to serve on several Boards of Directors including the Children’s Therapy Center, SKCAC (serving adults with disabilities), and the Center for Spiritual Living Bellevue. rita is also a mother and grandmother who has lived in Kent for more than 20 years with her husband Jim.
When interviewing for the position, rita said, "as the Billet Coordinator for the Ravens I look forward to meeting the families who will open their homes to our players. Our Thunderbird players become family and Ravens players will too, I'm sure."
